Social media is no longer solely for social connections. In fact, businesses use several social media brands because each of them offers a specific purpose for a specific audience. Take LinkedIn for example. It is geared towards a professional audience. In fact, human resource search firms use LinkedIn a lot to look for potential candidates. Top executives use it as well to get connected with their peers. It is not surprising that many of them will have a LinkedIn account but will not have any other social media account.
